Letting Go… Yin and Sound

Alston in the Well and Wonder Yoga Studio wtih crystal singing bowls, large ocean drum, tingsha and koshi chimes, and a 27’ gong from Nepal of Bhairav (a fearsome manifestation of Lord Shiva who destroys enemies like anger, greed and lust and dispels negative energy).

Calling out to our DMV partners, clients, and friends! As an antidote to your busy lives, we welcome you to join this monthly yin practice. Known as “The Quiet Practice,” this restorative flow consists of prop-intensive floor-based postures to promote full body listening and letting go of held mental and physical tensions. While staying present in the body and posture, healing sounds will be added (ocean drum, singing bowls, chimes….) to cultivate a therapeutic calm in body and mind.

Open to all levels this Sunday, April 23 at 7pm at the beautiful yoga studio, Well and Wonder.  Please consider joining, no yoga experience needed.
